About Ramundberget
Ramundberget, an outpost literally at the end of the road and on the border to the unpaved backcountry. Ever since 1936 when our first guests knocked on the door, an increasing number of people, including myself, have taken Ramundberget to our hearts. Today, a generation later, we stand out as an estab-lished yet small resort with a very strong brand facing our guests in almost every aspect of resort life. The small scale of things is key to our planning for the future and a general concern for us.Our entire business is based on three foundations: Nature, Hostmanship and History. Nature insofar as administering and handling the gift of mountains and streams. Hostmanship as inspired by the legacy of late Agaton & Brita in their way of caring for the first guests and in truly ‘seeing’ the customer. Few resorts in Sweden have much of a history. In Ramundberget the saga continues and we ourselves are indebted to our past as bearers of a tradition.
Ramundberget is a genuinely small scale alternative for those who wish to look beyond industry and mass consumption. We are not likely to become a place for each and all, yet to more and more people we seem to be only resort in their minds.
