Getting here

You can get to Ramundberget by car, bus or by train with a transfer. Once you’re here, everything you need for a wonderful mountain stay is within walking distance.

Ramundberget is beautifully situated in western Härjedalen at the end of the road, right in the Swedish mountains. The village sits at 750 meters above sea level, about 20 kilometers from the Norwegian border. Most people drive here, but taking the bus works perfectly well too.

By car

Take road 84 via Funäsdalen and Bruksvallarna, then continue on to us at the end of the road.

By bus

Härjedalingen is a direct bus running from Stockholm via Uppsala and Gävle to Ramundberget. A comfortable way to travel where you can also bring your skis or your bike.

Länstrafiken Jämtland Härjedalen, bus line 622 runs the route Funäsdalen–Bruksvallarna Ramundberget

The ski bus runs during the winter season through the mountain valleys in the Funäsfjällen area.

By train

Snälltåget runs overnight trains from Malmö, via Stockholm among other stops, to Östersund station, including bus transfer to Ramundberget. Snälltåget mainly operates during peak seasons; see their website for departure times.

There are also trains from Stockholm to Östersund and Ljusdal; from there, continue by bus with Länstrafiken Jämtland to Funäsdalen, and then on by bus/taxi to Ramundberget.
