Ski touring course
Welcome to a weekend filled with adventure, learning and hands-on practice. During our ski touring course, you’ll learn the basics of safe and efficient ski touring. It’s the perfect opportunity for beginners eager to discover the magnificent world of ski touring and make their first turns in untouched snow.
Over two and a half days, we cover most of what you need to know to feel more confident ski touring in the mountains.
Among other things, we will cover the essentials of avalanche and snow safety, uphill and downhill skiing techniques, route selection, tour planning and safety awareness. We aim to make the mountains our primary learning environment. However, each day begins and ends with an indoor session, where we review the key points for the day in the mountains.
This course is for anyone looking to get started with ski touring, or who has already done a few tours and would now like to build their skills and knowledge.
