Summer in Ramundberget means lots of fun and adventure for the kids. Here are Mickelina's Top Tips on what to do, see and experience together in and around Ramundberget.
Mickelina's World is a collection of fun activities and places for the little ones to do and see in Ramundberget. There's always loads to explore on the mountain and in the valley, from hiking and cycling to fun and games!

Lillramis
Lillramis, "Little Ramundberget," is our kids' area. During summer, it proudly hosts its very own bike park, complete with Flow Trail and Magic Carpet! Take the lift up and cycle down a fun trail suitable for small cyclists who want to grow their skills and prepare for cross-country paths. There will also be a Skills Area with seven different obstacles, all designed to improve balance and technique.
To refuel, visit the barbecue spot and "värmestuga" (heated hut) in the big Tipi tent, where you can eat your own picnic food. On a sunny day, help yourself to a sun chair with views of all of Lillramis. A perfect place to relax while keeping an eye on your little explorers.
Small Adventurers
The mountain also offers a lot of adventure for kids! Mickelina's Hiking Trail is a beautiful path that starts at the lift on top of the mountain. Walk around three kilometers down the slope and meet Ramundberget's animals, nature and history. The hike passes Mickelina's House and Kvarnbäcksfallet Waterfall, a great spot for a swim and some play. Afterwards, throw some hotdogs on the barbecue and go for a ride on the zipline. Don't miss "Mummel och Rabarber" (Murmurs and Rhubarb), a fun forest safari with beautiful woden animal figures. A great place to learn more about the animals around Ramundberget!
For those who want to learn even more about history and explore a real mountain pasture, we recommend a trip to Bockhammarsvallen. This is one of Mickelina's favorite trails, starting from the top of Fjällgårdsbanan chairlift. Once arrived, you'll be greeted by the remains of a mountain pasture filled with huts next to a cozy lake and great cliffs for climbing. A beautiful, clearly marked trail of just the right length for smaller mountain adventurers.
Fun and Games
Right outside Hotel Fjällgården you'll find Mickelina's new playground! Enjoy soccer, a trampoline, balancing bikes and much more. For those who want to explore further afield, we recommend a visit to our Nature Library where you'll find activities for big and small. How about kids' orienteering, mushroom and flower walks, a butterfly net for the excursion, or nature bingo? All activities can be enjoyed in all weathers.
