Restaurant Mor Britas at Fjällgården

When Brita and Agaton founded Ramundberget in 1936, there was always a place at the end of the table in mother Brita’s kitchen for skiers and hikers. Brita loved to cook, and while she stood at the stove Agaton would take care of the guests.

The ingredients came directly from the mountains. Wild game from hunting, reindeer from friends in Mittådalen and Arctic char from their own tarn. Cloudberries, lingonberries, blueberries and chanterelles were picked by the children who lived there. There were always mountain cows, pigs and chickens in the barn. Eighty years later, we try to live as they did then by making the most of what nature provides here. We grow herbs and salads, pick our own plants and berries in nature, and our beef comes from neighbouring Bruksvallarna. The Norwegian coast is close by and provides us with fresh fish and seafood. We also have one of the mountain region’s most ambitious wine cellars. We believe quite simply that mealtime is an important part of relaxing and enjoying time together. And good food deserves good drinks.

 

Lunch at Mor Britas

We always serve a salad buffet and a vegetarian soup with the lunch choice of the day. If you have food allergies, we always try to provide an option that suits you, just let us know. We use local ingredients from the region as much as possible, and we have a close relationship with Kristianssons farm in Bruksvallarna.

 

Opening times from 28 June:

Open daily from 28 June to 30 September.

Breakfast: 7.30 - 9.30am

Lunch: 11.30 am - 2pm

Children's menu: 2 - 9pm

Dinner: 6 - 9pm
